Top 5 Card Battler Apps on Android in the US: Q1 2022 Performance

In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 card battler applications on the Android platform in the United States exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. These insights are based on data from Sensor Tower.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links from KONAMI saw its weekly revenue peak at approximately $538K in mid-January before gradually declining to around $161K by the end of March. Weekly downloads also decreased over the quarter, from about 9.7K in late December to around 4.2K in the last week of March. The app’s weekly active users showed a similar downward trend, starting from 196K and ending at roughly 149K.

Mighty Party by PANORAMIK GAMES LTD experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at about $315K in late December and ending the quarter at approximately $205K. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, ranging from around 13K to 20K, with a slight increase toward the end of the quarter. The app's weekly active users remained fairly consistent, hovering around the 200K mark throughout the quarter.

WWE SuperCard - Battle Cards from 2K, Inc. saw its weekly revenue peak at around $353K at the end of December, followed by a drop to about $132K in early January and then fluctuating between $128K and $243K for the remainder of the quarter. Weekly downloads varied, starting from approximately 3K and reaching up to 6.3K in the week of February 21. The app's weekly active users showed an upward trend, increasing from about 40K to over 50K by the end of March.

Magic: The Gathering Arena by Wizards of the Coast LLC had a peak weekly revenue of about $285K in early February. The revenue then declined, ending the quarter at roughly $98K. Weekly downloads saw a significant drop from about 39K at the end of December to around 8.7K by the end of March. The app’s weekly active users also declined from approximately 97K to 69K during the same period.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, also from KONAMI, launched in late January and saw its weekly revenue peak at about $232K in mid-February. By the end of March, the weekly revenue had decreased to around $95K. Weekly downloads followed a similar trend, starting at approximately 58K and dropping to around 16K. The app’s weekly active users grew rapidly from 31K at launch to a peak of about 90K in late February, then slightly declined to around 76K by the end of March.
